Hall’Em In Fishin’ Episode 4 Brings You The Bi-Weekly Florida Fishing Report!

Hall’Em In Fishin’ is proud to bring you our bi-weekly series; the “Florida Fishing Report” brought to you by our friends at C&B Custom Jigs and Coastal Angler Magazine Fort Myers! In this episode our Hall’Em In Fishin’ team of expert fishing Captains will bring you the best fishing tips along with some invaluable angling advice for the beginner up to the seasoned individual.

We start with Captain Alex Dolinski from Fort Myers Beach and he brings you some “cool weather” fishing tips for targeting Sheepshead, Black Drum and Pompano. Captain Andrew Stansell of Low Impact Charters in Titusville, Florida joins us next and takes you inland to the fresh water for some exciting Black Crappie fishing (see photos on our Facebook page) . He will share his tales of fishing for these fun freshwater fighters and provide some great ideas for targeting this species in the winter months. We then move way south in todays report to Captain Jack Carlson of Two Conchs Charters in Marathon Key. Captain Jack says the bite is on the reefs in the Keys today with Yellowtail and Black Grouper being the primary target using jigs and shrimp as bait. He also talks about success with the Mutton Snapper in about 200′ of water. Listen as we also congratulate Captain Jack on the new addition to his family, a baby girl!  We bounce back up to Fort Myers Beach and bring Captain Neil Eisner to the show.  Capt. Neil is also an expert in jig fishing and talks about his exclusive use of our friends at C&B Custom Jigs. Captain Scott even shares a funny story about a large jack getting the best of Captain Neil one day when they were out fishing the back country. This part of our show will give you some great options to consider from casual to fine dining on the water. Todays menu serves up Pinchers Crab Shack @Tarpon Point and Doc Fords, Fort Myers Beach! We finish up the show featuring Travis Palmer of Ditch Fishing 101 for a look at angling in the freshwater canals and streams of southwest Florida. Travis shares his expertise and talks several native and non native species.

Hall’Em In Fishin’ Episode 2-2018 Conversations from the Caymans!

In this episode #2-2018 Hall’Em In Fishin’ Host Captain Scott Hall takes you on a trip to Grand Cayman! sponsored by Coastal Angler Magazine, Fort Myers…  We begin the Gran Cayman dialogue with Captain Mark Combs of the “Night Moves” (a 77′ Marlow Yacht) where he talks about the lifestyle, culture and draw the islands have to tourists and the Cruise Line Industry. Captain Mark goes on to mention the many sporting options on the island, the food and of course the fantastic fishing!

After a short break we bring you Segment 2 of the show featuring the legendary fisherman and Captain, Charles Ebanks. Captain Ebanks shares with us in a distinctive island accent his experience fishing the well known fishing tournaments in the Caymans. He goes on to talk about his favorite fishing spots and the incredibly clear water that goes from knee deep at Stingray City (a sandbar located off shore) to over 1,000 feet deep less than a few yards away. Charles gives us some great insight about how to choose the right fishing trip or stingray excursion while visiting Grand Cayman while touting the atmosphere and hospitality of the island. Charles is now working privately on a 50 foot Viking Yacht for an individual owner but is always available around the marina to answer you questions or point you in the right direction. Hall’Em In Fishin’ Brings You Episode 1 of the 2018 Florida Fishing Report!

Hall’Em In Fishin’ is proud to bring you our 2018 Series of the “Florida Fishing Report” brought to you by our friends at C&B Custom Jigs! In our first episode of 2018 the Hall’Em In Fishin’ team of expert fishing Captains and Guides will bring you the best fishing tips along with some invaluable angling advice for the beginner up to the seasoned individual.

We start with Captain Alex Dolinski of Spot On Charters in Fort Myers Beach for some advice on water temperature decline. Captain Alex also talks about some recent near-shore King Mackerel experiences while the cold fronts roll in. We then move on to Captain Andrew Stansell of Low Impact Charters in Titusville. He will share his tales of “Monster” Red Fish in the Ponce Inlet and some Red Snapper Fishing about 10 miles off the eastern shore of north Florida. Captain Jack Carlson of Two Conchs Charters in Marathon joins us next with some African Pompano action. The bite is on in the Keys with Mutton and mangrove Snapper at the top of the list!  Jack also shares some information regarding the Fishing Camps and Seminars he is hosting January 19-21 and March 2-4! Next we talk to Captain Neil Eisner from Fort Myers Beach and he brings you some “cold water tactics” targeting Sheepshead and Sea Trout. In our final segment today we bring you Debbie Hanson of SheFishes2 who has had a busy few weeks to share with our listeners.
