NEW LOCAL WEB RADIO PODCAST TO FEATURE THE STORIES OF YOUR COMMUNITY!
For the residents of “Your Town” who want to hear interviews with public officials, entertainers, fishing enthusiasts or learn the latest news about businesses in the area, a new local resource is launching on the web.
The podcast forum known as Hall Around Town Radio (hallaraoundtownradio.com) will give people an opportunity to get know their community better!
“A major part of our commitment to this new resource is to help our listeners get to know their community. We want to help them learn about the exciting features our community has to offer, such as business, music, food and recreation and how to get in touch with them.” said Scott Hall the programs producer. He said episodes are approximately 30 minutes but there is no set time limit.
Podcasting has been sweeping across the nation recently and allows those on the go to listen to a variety of topics of interest “In this rapidly changing era of technology, people in our community are into absorbing knowledge and being entertained on their mobile devices, this is a great way to provide it for them. In fact, we are even searching for individuals who may want to host one of our podcast categories such as the “FOOD-A-HALL’ICK” (featuring local eatery reviews) or the “SPORTS HALL” (highlighting local sports). We are seeking people and content that have a deep-seated connection to the community,” Hall said.
Podcasts are growing in popularity each day and the Podcast Community Is Bigger Than You Think!
According to national statistics, the podcast audience is 57 million Americans in total. And while Twitter has more members than that (many more, actually) the research shows their active user base is on-par with the overall podcast listener.
“As a local podcast forum, we also provide an educational experience for our podcast partners and producers. We want to strive for quality programming while identifying that not every podcaster has made a profession out of being a talk show host, that’s the fascination of podcasts — the real voices of people in our community” Hall went on to say.
Hall Around Town Radio provides simple links to their shows that allow the entertainer, service provider, local government officials, or business to share them on their social media and web pages. In addition, there is the opportunity for show sponsorship and banner advertising on their web-site.
To subscribe to their podcast feed on iTunes and others and enjoy the stories of your community, you can find the forum and show categories at www.hallaroundtownradio.com and also follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram by clicking the links provided on their web page
